ABOUT US
Blue Step Support Services is a little different to most Providers. We consider Participants and Support Workers our customers. We believe that communities should drive the business and customers should contribute to business decisions. In fact, the name Blue Step Support Services was agreed upon by the founding staff.
At Blue Step everyone gets a say in what we do, how we support each other and who we want to be. We are a group of people, working together, having a great time supporting each other and our wonderful Participants.
We are always looking to grow and bring more like-minded people into our business. So if you’re a Participant or someone looking to become a Support Worker, we would love to hear from you and share our journey.

SOME KEY DIFFERENCES
Participants have no service restriction; they are welcome to leave our service without notice.
Participants and Carers have full communication access to Staff Partners and are encouraged to discuss, coordinate, and participate in Blue Step Support.
Participants and Carers are welcome to choose or interview their Support Worker, rearrange schedules or even recommend a new employee.
Support Workers have no employment restrictions, they are welcome to follow the Participants to ensure the continuation of service. We encourage what is best for the Participant and the Staff Partner.
We encourage the choice of multiple Providers and Support Workers from other organisations, we believe this often leads to the best outcomes.
We encourage Carers, Participants, and Staff Partners to feel a part of the community team and make suggestions or improvements to our business operations.
